Job Description : Software Quality Engineer

The Senior Lead Software Quality Engineer role with the Learning Manager team at Adobe India is an exciting opportunity for professionals who have a deep technical background and strong leadership capabilities. The position offers the opportunity to assume significant responsibilities, lead teams, and contribute to innovative projects globally.

In this role, candidates will oversee the entire quality engineering (QE) process during software development. This includes performing performance analysis, test automation, and functional and non-functional testing to ensure the product meets high quality and reliability standards.

Job Requirement : Software Quality Engineer

As a Senior Lead Software Quality Engineer, you will be required to perform the following tasks :

Develop and implement quality strategies that align well with DevOps and Agile methods.
Create and monitor automation frameworks to test cloud, mobile, and web applications, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Perform performance testing to ensure systems are reliable and can scale as needed.
Work with development and product management teams to create solutions that meet customer needs.
Inform all stakeholders about quality improvements and potential risks and ensure everyone is updated.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must fulfill the below criteria :

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java.
Experience with automation tools such as TestNG, Appium, and Selenium.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as RestAssured and Postman.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.

QE Expertise :

Deep understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Experience with testing approaches such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Hands-on experience testing complex cloud-based systems and databases.

Soft Skills :

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Certification in Quality Assurance or Engineering (like ISTQB, Agile Testers, etc.).
Domain knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be an added advantage.
